I can't help but wonder if this is a post paid by Bluesky. The author fails to mention that today Bluesky is NOT federated (there are no other server networks) and that the AT protocol is NOT an open protocol sanctioned by independent governing bodies like the IETF or W3C.

If you're tired of the cesspool X (twitter) has become, switching to Bluesky will be better, but not for technical reasons. All you'll actually be doing is switching owners and who can say whether Musk will just buy Bluesky too. A better alternative might be one of the many federated mastodon hosts, which tend to be well moderated.

can you provide link to your expression ? I can't find any article or blog relative to Bluesky is NOT federated

No other companies or individuals operate servers which use the AT protocol.

Bluesky is a "safe space" for sensitive left-of-center souls. Journalists, activists and anyone looking to persuade people don't already agree with us still need to buckle up and dive into X.

X is a disinformation and propaganda cesspool.

Ok, you should definitely stay in the safe space. My advice applies only to those who aspire to persuade and convert.

But I'm sure you were fine with it before Musk bought it.

"But I'm sure you were fine with it before Musk bought it."

Black and white thinking. Like if Twitter was exactly what X is today and it promoted Musk content and right wing propaganda. As if Twitter removed free speech from anyone who Musk didn't agree with. See the problem? Twitter wasn't any of this. At least before there was a better balance than what this propaganda crap of X is today.

Black and white thinking again. Nice one. You fail to appreciate the details which is why you paint the picture as a whole thing rather than being able to differentiate what happened to Twitter and how social media is a spectrum.
