Thank you for the nice book. The only question i cant still wrap my head around: Why daily Active Users is one of the most important question during a requirements clarification? Does a mobile client should care about this much and how this number significantly affects a design? Usually one instance of the app is used by one user (usually) so there is no potential "scale" or performance issues. It is a crucial metric for a backend but for a client... Until the only reason is the fact of "asking" about it. What is more, in real life, mobile(and web) doesn't affect on how API is build: protocols, formats, pagination types etc., but this is probably a whole different story :)
