How come there is no sacrifice for CA systems? Isn't it partition intolerance or am I missing something here?
I think it's because mainly CA system are used within a single node. So you don't need any other node and therefore you don't need partition.

So, a reverse proxy is kind of a middleware that processes the incoming requests moves them forward in either direction?
It could be in either direction or a specific direction depending on how it is configured.
