I am surprised mention of DataDog and Splunk is missing in Logging, Tracing and Metrics. DataDog is very powerful and widely used.
This is a good point - the team that I'm on uses Datadog in combination with Kafka and we've really started to appreciate its ease of use and capabilities. It does seem to be getting quite a bit more expensive as we're scaling, though.
Use New Relic. I have found it to be almost on par with Datadog but much cheaper and transparent on pricing
I have one more usecase for Kafka usage. How do I convey?
